QUOTE FROM COACH MCCABE
"I'm proud of the toughness that we showed again, which obviously showed up against Detroit. I thought our second unit, especially our freshmen, were phenomenal this game, with them scoring 46 points in the second half." McCabe went on to say, "Our first group struggled shooting. Collectively, as a team, we struggled pretty heavily; again, 5-for-30 is not going to make a merry Christmas for me, but I guess if it's going to happen, hopefully we get it out of the way and are prepared for Oakland. I thought Point Park did a good job playing their zone, in transition, and in sets, testing us a little bit with their zone offense, so I'm glad that second unit played so well against it." When discussing the Colonials' 65 rebounds, McCabe said, "Really happy with our effort on the rebounding and on the glass. We had two kids with double-figure rebounds and 24 offensive rebounds, which is good. We just got to shoot it a little better, and we are looking forward to letting everyone go home for a break and then getting them back and hitting the ground running."
