MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU men's soccer midfielder Kyle Schueneman has been named to the Eligible Player List for the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, as announced by Major League Soccer.

Major League Soccer unveiled a pool of 436 eligible players representing more than 150 colleges and universities across the country.

A senior from Shelby Township, Mich., Schueneman joined the Colonials for his final season of collegiate soccer and made an immediate impact in the midfield. During the 2025 campaign, he appeared in 12 matches, earning eight starts while contributing one goal and one assist. Over his collegiate career, Schueneman has played in 42 matches with 10 career starts.

Schueneman's inclusion on the list marks the second consecutive year that an RMU men's soccer player has earned MLS SuperDraft eligibility. Last season, John Paul Mbuthia was also selected to the eligible player pool, highlighting the continued development of professional-level talent within the program.

The RMU men's soccer team concluded the 2025 season with a 6-4-7 overall record and a 3-1-5 mark in Horizon League play. Under the direction of third-year head coach Jonathan Potter, the Colonials advanced to the Horizon League semifinals for the second straight season.
