MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's basketball closed their regular season in dominate fashion, defeating Wright State, 73-57. The Colonials finished the regular season slate with a 12-15 overall record and 10-10 mark in Horizon League play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Wright State was the team who got off to the quick offensive start going 3-3 from the field to begin the game including a three-pointer. Wright State led 7-4 but RMU would rebound soon after.
- The Colonials defense stood strong at the midway point holding the Raiders scoreless for five minutes while RMU went on an 8-0 run.
- The key for RMU in the frame was that they scored nine points off of Wright State turnovers while the Raiders didn't have any. RMU closed the quarter with a 19-11 advantage.
SECOND QUARTER
- The Colonials had one of ther most complete quarters on both ends of the floor as RMU shot 60 percent from the field and held the Raiders to 25 percent shooting.
- One of the key factors for RMU was controlling the paint as they had 12 points in the interior while the Raiders had just four.
- RMU closed the half scoring 11 out of the last 14 points with the Colonials controlling the tempo in the stanza.
THIRD QUARTER
- There wasn't much offense to speak of in the start of this frame as the first field goal was made at the 6:57 mark with Noa Givon cashing in on a three-pointer.
- Naomi Barnwell played 10 minutes off the bench and scored five of her eight points in this frame including layups on back to back possessions.
- RMU closed the quarter with a 21 point lead and looked to be in the driver seat headed to the final frame.
 FOURTH QUARTER
- The Colonials didn't shoot how they would've liked with a 30 percent clip in the frame but converted on six of their eight free throws.
- Weight State had their best quarter shooting by far making 50 percent of their shots but the Colonials still kept pace by scoring 15 points in the frame.
- Danielle Vuletich had a standout performance in the frame going 3-3 from the field and scoring eight of her 12 points this quarter.
- Alejandra Mastral closed the game with two final free throws as the Colonials would come away with the win, 73-57.

QUARTERFINAL CLINCHED
With the win over Weight State, RMU has now clinched a hoem quarterfinal Horizon League game for the first time in program history. The last time RMU hosted a Horizon League postseason game was during the 2021 season when the Colonials defeated Purdue Fort Wayne in the first round, 70-56. RMU will prepare to play host to Northern Kentucky on Thursday, March 6 at the UPMC Events Center. The Colonials recently played the Norse at the UPMC Events Center two weeks ago and defeated Northern Kentucky, 63-59.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Noa Givon once again led the Colonials with a 15-point scoring effort against the Raiders, while also leading the team with six rebounds.
Danielle Vuletich came off the bench and scored 12 points while going 5-7 from the field.
Mya Murray was perfect from the field going 4-4 and finishing the game with 10 points.
