MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's lacrosse prepares for a non-conference road contest at Albany on Friday night. First draw is scheduled for 6 p.m. and coverage can be seen live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU (2-6, 1-0) is coming off of a thrilling victory in their first conference match against Eastern Michigan, 10-9. The Colonials came through in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Eagles 7-3 in the frame with
Jenna Irwin firing home the game-winner with 23 seconds left in the game.
Chelsea Coleman and
Samantha Brothers each led the Colonials with three points in the in over the Eagles by recording two goals and an assist.
Megan Shepley saw her first action of the season during the second quarter and would go on to get the win after making seven crucial saves.

ALBANY LATELY
The Great Danes (2-6) are off to a slow start to the season in mostly non-conference action but have faced four top 25 ranked teams in their first eight games played. Albany is led on offense by sophomore midfielder Mikaela Mooney who has 27 points by way of 11 goals and 16 assists. This will be the first time the Colonials and Great Danes square off in over 20 years of RMU lacrosse.
COMEBACK SEASON
RMU's comeback win on Sunday against EMU set some high season marks as the seven fourth quarter goals are the most scored by the Colonials in a quarter since their win over Youngstown State last season.

The Colonials will go back on the road for the first time in two weeks as they'll face
Canisius next Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y. First draw is scheduled for 2 p.m.
