QUOTABLE – Head Coach Jexx Varner
On the Class of 2025:
"Senior Day can be challenging because there's a lot of emotion. But this defined what our group can do with their leadership. They kept everything simple today. This group has been on the field in many important moments since they got on campus. Anna and Alaina have started every game since they were freshmen. Maddie has been our best pitcher since the end of her freshman year. Jess has had a huge role since her rookie season, and Logan hasn't played much behind the plate until this year but has been great. Jaimee came in with experience at Campbell, playing in regionals. This whole group is special."

On the comeback in Game 2:
"We kept ourselves in the ball game. We believe in our lineup—that by the third or fourth time through, they're going to find ways to score. The first two times through, PFW did a good job containing our offense, but we adjusted. We learned from each at-bat and ended up with a positive result."
