MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Early offense from Purdue Fort Wayne proved to be the difference Saturday morning as RMU dropped the series finale, 5-2, at the North Athletic Complex. With the loss, the Colonials move to 22-14 overall and 14-6 in Horizon League action.

PFW got on the board early, drawing two walks in the top of the first before a sacrifice fly plated the game's first run.
In the third, the Mastodons extended their lead after a leadoff walk led to an RBI triple, making it 2-0.
RMU responded in the bottom half.

Anna Resnik followed with a single up the middle to bring Jardine home and cut the deficit to 2-1.
PFW added an insurance run in the fourth with an RBI double, then stretched the lead to 5-1 in the fifth on a two-run home run.
In the bottom of the sixth,
