ALL-TIME VS. MERCYHURST
This will be the first matchup between the two schools as Mercyhurst made the jump to Division I this season and are members of the NEC. The Lakers previously were in Division II as members of the PSAC in previous seasons.

SCOUTING THE LAKERS
Mercyhurst (6-7, 6-2 #NEC) are coming off three straight wins, all of which coming in conference play against Central Connecticut State, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Le Moyne. All of the Lakers wins have come in NEC play as Mercyhurst is 0-7 in non-conference action against teams such as Kent State, Duquesne, and Presbyterian.
Junior attacker Whitley Easton is the offensive force on Mercyhurst as she has 47 goals and 31 assists while leading the NEC with 6.07 points per game.
CLINCHING SCENARIOS
With the win over Kent State last week, RMU officially clinched a spot in the 2025 MAC Championships but next they will find out who and where they will be playing. The Colonials can clinch the #1 seed and host the MAC Championships on Sunday against Akron with a win, however with a loss on Sunday there are multiple scenarios as follows:
Loss vs Akron and a Central Michigan Win = Third Seed
Loss vs Akron and a Central Michigan Loss = First seed and hosting due to tiebreakers over Eastern Michigan and previous regular season win over Detroit Mercy
UP NEXT
The Colonials will go back on the road for the regular season finale at Akron on Sunday afternoon. First draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. and can be seen live for free on Akron's digital network.Â
