MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Robert Morris opens its 32nd season of football with its first-ever trip to Morgantown to visit West Virginia on August 30. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
THE SERIES
Saturday marks the first matchup between the two teams.
 
RMU AGAINST FBS TEAMS
This game will mark the first time the two teams have met. It is also RMU's first opponent out of the Big 12 Conference. The Mountaineers are the Colonials' sixth FBS opponent (Air Force, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Miami (OH) and Utah State.
 
A CLOSER COMMUTE
Last season, RMU opened at Utah State, which is 1,827 miles from Moon Township. This season's opener in Morgantown is only 79 miles, making a difference of 1,748 miles closer to campus.
