CLINTON, Pa. - The RMU Men's and Women's Cross Country hosted their long home event this morning, the Colonial Invitational. The event was held at Youthtowne Fields.
 
The men's team was fifth of 10 teams, finishing with 113 points. The Colonials had three Top 20 finishers in the field of 120 runners in Jake Bayes (14/ 24:54.6), Sam Gutzwiller (16/ 24:58.7) and Tyler Paszkowski (20/ 25:04.4).
 
The women's team was seventh of 10 teams, finishing with 188 points. Emma Jiancristoforo was 13^th in the field of 106 with a time of 21:42.5. Samantha Hennen ran unattached was second overall, crossing in 19:59.8.
 
Up next, both teams head to South Bend, Ind. to run in the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
