MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Horizon League has announced that Jasmine Purakal is the Under Armour #HLVB Player of the Week.
 
Purakal was named MVP of the Four Twelve Project Volleyball Invitational after finishing the weekend with 32 digs (4.0/set) and nine assists. She led RMU to a pair of victories – 3-2 against Saint Francis and 3-0 over Buffalo.
 
Up next, RMU begins HL play at Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27. The Colonials stay on the road for a midweek matchup at Youngstown State on Tuesday, September 30 before their conference home opener on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 against Oakland.
