MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Robert Morris Men's Basketball Assistant Head Coach
Kim Lewis has been selected to the 7th Annual Silver Waves Media Most Impactful Mid Major Assistants list.
"The seventh annual mid-major coaches and GMs lists have seen numerous coaches go on to become Division I head coaches," the organization said in its press release. "The Silver Waves Media lists have become the industry standard for excellence. Our 2026 men's list features some of the most outstanding and impactful assistants and GMs in Division I men's basketball."
Lewis, currently in his second season with RMU, was instrumental in leading the Colonials to a program-record 26 wins last season. That historic campaign included a Horizon League regular season and tournament championship, as well as the league's automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. To date this season, he has helped guide RMU to an 11-6 record.
More than 40 previous Silver Waves Media Top 100 honorees have gone on to become head coaches.
