MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Colonials will conclude a quick two-game road stretch with a matchup with the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus on Sunday afternoon. First draw is scheduled for noon at the Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.

With an 11-4 loss at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday afternoon, the Colonials now sit at 2-3 going into the matchup against the Buckeyes.

Against the Bonnies, four different players scored goals for the Colonials, with Greta Burns, Taylor Cadeau, Madison Prietz, and Taylor Burkett all finding the back of the net. Lea Otts led the team in assists (2), with her assists on Burns and Cadeau's goals, while Julia Foley recorded the third assist for the Colonials on Burkett's goal. RMU totaled 14 ground balls on the afternoon, while recording 15 shots with seven coming on goal.

MIA MAGIC IN THE MAC
Mia Berthoff was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. The feat was completed in the Colonials' 13-12 thrilling win over Duquesne when Berthoff scored four goals, including the game-winner with two seconds on the clock. This was Berthoff's first Player of the Week honor.

Berthoff has been a major force for RMU, leading the team in goals (13), points (18), and caused turnovers (7). Mia has started and played in all five of the Colonials' games this season.

RMU and Ohio State will go head-to-head for the ninth time since 2007, with the Buckeyes winning all eight of the previous contests. On the road against Ohio State, the Colonials are 0-6, while at home, 0-2.

LAST TIMEOUT
The pair met in Moon Township for just the second time at home for the Colonials last March, with RMU falling 15-5 to Ohio State. The Colonials were held to just 11 shots, with eight coming on goal. Mia Berthoff recorded one goal on the afternoon for the Colonials, while Madison Prietz had two groundballs, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls.

Ohio State will head into the matchup with a 3-2 record after picking up a massive 22-4 win over MAC member Detroit Mercy on Friday to move to .600 on the year. Against the Titans, Camryn Callaghan, Zoe Coleman and Bella Tan each recorded a hat trick and an assist for four points on the afternoon. Abby Boyle also set a new program record with 16 draw controls in the win.

Camryn Callaghan is leading the Ohio State offense with 15 goals, six assists, and 21 points, while Kate Tyack is second on the team in goals (10) and leads the team with nine assists, along with 19 points. On the season, the Buckeyes have a .764 shots on goal percentage with 107-of-140 of their shots coming on goal.
