MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's lacrosse team (3-5, 1-0 MAC) will return home to Joe Walton Stadium for its conference home opener versus Youngstown State (0-7, 0-1 MAC) on Thursday afternoon. First draw is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials got back into the win column, securing an 8-7 double overtime victory over conference opponent Central Michigan on the road Saturday afternoon.

Despite trailing 5-1 after the first period, the Colonials' offense kept chipping away until a goal by Mia Berthoff, her third of the game, with 1:30 on the clock tied the contest at 7-7, with neither team able to score in the remaining time.

The first overtime quarter was a defensive battle, with each team only allowing just one shot apiece, with RMU's lone shot coming on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net, sending the matchup to double overtime.

Jade Doldo would call the game with 3:41 on the clock as Doldo found the back of the net for her sixth goal of the season off a pass from Mia Berthoff, to give the Colonials the 8-7 win, ending a three-game losing streak against Central Michigan.

Berthoff led the way with her fifth hat trick of the season, scoring three goals along with two assists. Lea Otts was second in command, scoring two goals while also recording two caused turnovers. Turnovers were big for the Colonials, with RMU causing 22 turnovers by the Chippewas, led by Emma Hawks and Samantha Brothers with four each.
