QUOTABLE – HEAD COACH JEXX VARNER
"What a crazy day! We had great fight all day and the offense was once again elite! We knocked out two top pitchers and continued to roll regardless of who was in the circle. We talked about finding that same confidence on defense after losing the Ohio game. Our defense responded big time in that Western Carolina game."
"Jardine was huge on defense tonight. She made multiple great plays. I'm so proud of Brant and Harbold. Mary stepped up big time at shortstop today and Cam did a great job at first base. Both stepped up big time with Sequoia out.
Madison Brown was great in relief and entered in a big moment and showed out. That next-woman-up mentality and confidence is what will make us a very dangerous team the rest of the year."
