RMU Men’s Lacrosse Wins Fourth Straight After 14-11 Victory Over Bellarmine

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Robert Morris extended its winning streak to four matches after its 14-11 victory over Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon at Joe Walton Stadium.

Luke Prezioso led the way for Robert Morris with a team-high five points, consisting of two goals and three assists. Joel McCormick followed closely with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists), while Calum Brennan and Graeme MacLennan each contributed 3 points to the winning effort. In total, RMU displayed impressive depth with nine different players finding the back of the net. Keeper Nate Fechter turned away 14 shots with seven ground balls, Owen Tapper picked up eight ground balls and caused five turnovers. Liam Blakely and Cristian Davis each recorded seven ground balls.

First Quarter
Bellarmine dominated the opening frame, keeping RMU off the board entirely. The Alie duo got things started early with Joe assisting John for the first goal of the game. Ezra Moore doubled the lead late in the period, allowing Bellarmine to exit the first quarter with a 2–0 advantage.

Second Quarter
The scoring opened up significantly in the second as both teams traded heavy blows. While Bellarmine briefly extended their lead to 4–1 thanks to Moore and Ty Washington, RMU's offense responded with a three-goal surge, including a man-up strike from Nolan Barker. John Alie added another for Bellarmine to stem the tide, but RMU stayed within reach, trailing 5–4 at the half.

Third Quarter
RMU exploded for six goals in the period, including two from Luke Prezioso and a late flurry by Dylan Anderson, Ryan Steifel, and Cristian Davis to erase Bellarmine's lead. Despite John Alie and Washington's best efforts to keep the Knights in front, RMU entered the final frame leading 10–8.

Fourth Quarter
Robert Morris opened with a power-play goal from Graeme MacLennan to extend their cushion. Bellarmine attempted a comeback behind John Alie's fourth and fifth goals of the afternoon, but RMU answered every threat with goals from Calum Brennan and Mac Link.
