MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Five student-athletes from the RMU softball team –
Courtney Poulich,
Madelyn Coleman,
Kaitlyn Molitoris,
Eloise Facher and
Mary Brant – have been named to the prestigious College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team.
The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Softball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees across four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for Academic All-District® recognition, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. Position players must compete in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start at least 66 percent of contests, while pitchers must throw at least 30 innings or make 17 appearances.
Courtney Poulich (Redshirt Senior | Greensburg, Pa.)
Poulich earns Academic All-District honors for the third consecutive season. A Health Science major, she maintained a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA throughout her undergraduate career. She was also named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team for the second straight year.
On the field, Poulich has twice been named All-League First Team and was selected as the 2026 Horizon League Player of the Year. She also earned NFCA All-Region Second Team honors.
In 2026, Poulich started all 49 games and established new Horizon League and RMU single-season records with 25 home runs and 88 RBIs. She finished the year batting .436 with a .523 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
Madelyn Coleman (Senior | Ellicott City, Md.)
Coleman receives Academic All-District recognition for the first time in her career. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and a 3.97 cumulative GPA. Coleman also earned Horizon League All-Academic Team honors this season.
In the circle, Coleman logged 102.0 innings and collected 10 victories. She made 29 appearances, including five complete games, and posted a 5.70 ERA. Highlighting her season was the first no-hitter of her career against La Roche, where she struck out six batters over five innings.
Kaitlyn Molitoris (Junior | McKees Rocks, Pa.)
Molitoris earns Academic All-District honors for the first time. A Health Science major, she currently carries a 3.72 cumulative GPA and was named an Honorable Mention selection to the Horizon League All-Academic Team in 2026.
During the season, Molitoris threw 107.0 innings and recorded 114 strikeouts. She finished with 10 wins, two saves and a 4.19 ERA.
Eloise Facher (Junior | Pittsburgh, Pa.)
Facher earned Academic All-District recognition in her first season with the Colonials. Earning a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, she currently owns a 3.99 cumulative GPA.
Facher also garnered postseason recognition on the field, earning All-Horizon League Third Team honors. She appeared in 48 games in 2026, batting .424 with a .466 on-base percentage and a .791 slugging percentage. She totaled 12 home runs, 61 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
Mary Brant (Sophomore | Poland, Ohio)
Brant earns Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career in her first year of eligibility. The Statistics & Data Science major currently owns a 3.72 cumulative GPA and was selected to the Horizon League All-Academic Team this season.
Brant also earned NFCA All-Region First Team honors after an outstanding sophomore campaign. She batted .395 with a .432 on-base percentage and an .821 slugging percentage while totaling 16 home runs, 57 RBIs and 43 runs scored across 46 games.
Poulich advances to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, where CSC members will vote on the national teams. The 2026 Academic All-America® Teams will be announced June 16.
