MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's hockey team placed 13 student-athletes on the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)/Krampade All-American Scholar Team for the 2025-26 season, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the classroom.

The AHCA annually honors varsity hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence academically, announcing its 10th annual Krampade All-American Scholar Team this summer.

To qualify, student-athletes must have earned a 3.75 grade-point average in each semester of the academic year while appearing in at least 40 percent of their team's games. Exceptions are made for injured players and backup goaltenders. Institutions must also be members of the AHCA.

For the second consecutive season, RMU led Atlantic Hockey America with 13 selections.

Freshmen John Babcock, Julian Beaumont, Bruce McDonald, Zeke Nicholson, Luca Primerano and Charlie Schenkel each earned the honor following their rookie campaigns.

Braden Rourke was recognized for the second time in his career, while Patrick Johnson, Gabriel Lunn, Lucas Massie, Max Wattwil and Greg Japchen were honored for the first time.

Cameron Garvey's selection marks his third consecutive appearance on the AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar Team.
