MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Heading into the 2026 season, Head Coach Michelle Rick announced the addition of two transfers and seven freshmen who will join the RMU women's soccer program.

"We were intentional about adding players who give us depth in key areas, raise the level in training, and fit how we want to play as we continue competing with the best teams in our conference. This group brings athleticism, technical quality, and a competitive edge that matches the direction of our program." TRANSFERS
Rosie Fontecchio | Midfielder | Redshirt Sophomore | North Ridgeville, Ohio
Fontecchio joins RMU after beginning her collegiate career at Longwood University. A standout at North Ridgeville High School, she earned First Team All-Conference honors three times and was a two-time All-Lorain County First Team selection. As a senior captain, she also earned All-State Honorable Mention recognition.
 
She totaled 25 goals and 28 assists in her prep career while competing for Cleveland Force SC and Internationals SC. With Internationals, she helped her team reach the ECNL Final Four in 2023.
 
Cianna Butera | Goalkeeper | Junior | Canonsburg, Pa.
Butera arrives in Moon Township after two strong seasons at West Liberty, where she started 34 matches and posted a save percentage of over .700. She recorded seven wins and posted 10 or more saves in 12 different matches. Last season, she led the Mountain East Conference in saves, saves per game, and save percentage.
 
A Canon-McMillan High School graduate, Butera served as a two-year captain for the Big Macs and earned All-WPIAL Big 56 Second Team honors as a senior. FRESHMEN
Kally Prescott | Goalkeeper | Knightdale, N.C.
Prescott joins RMU from East Wake Academy, where she was a three-time All-Conference selection. As a senior, she earned Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Team MVP honors. She averaged approximately 240 saves per season over her final three years. In addition, she played club soccer, competing for North Carolina FC (NCFC) in the ECNL.
 
Morgan Gesinski | Midfielder/Forward | Mount Pleasant, Pa.
Gesinski arrives after a decorated career at Mount Pleasant High School, where she was a TribLive Girls Soccer Player of the Year, Gatorade Player of the Year candidate, All-Region selection and Moe Rosensteel Finalist. She earned All-State honors twice, was a four-time All-Section and All-WPIAL selection, and served as a two-time captain. She led Mount Pleasant to four consecutive section titles and finished her career with 116 goals and 54 assists. Gesinski also played club soccer locally for Beadling GA. 
 
Samyah Costa | Defender | Apex, N.C.
Costa played at Middle Creek High School, where she was named First Team All-Conference and served as team captain as a senior. She was also named Team MVP in her final season. Costa also developed her skills at the club level as a member for Wake FC GA in the ECNL.  
 
Kate Sheehan | Defender | Raleigh, N.C.
Sheehan joins RMU after a standout career at Cardinal Gibbons High School. She earned All-Region, All-State, and All-Conference honors as a senior and helped lead her team to conference championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025, including two undefeated conference seasons. She scored 19 goals with seven assists in her senior year.  Sheehan also competed in club soccer for Wake FC GA in the ECNL.
 
Addison Orehowsky | Defender | Valencia, Pa.
Orehowsky comes to RMU after a successful career at Mars Area High School, where she helped lead her team to a WPIAL Championship as a freshman and back-to-back section titles in her first two seasons. She was named Team MVP and Defensive MVP as a senior and finished her high school career with a 55-5-1 record. Orehowsky spent her club career at Beadling GA.
 
Aleesha Chaudhri | Midfielder | Halton Hills, Ontario
Chaudhri played at Georgetown District High School, helping her team win Tier 1 championships in 2023 and 2024. At the club level, she competed for North Mississauga Soccer Club and helped capture the Ontario Indoor Cup in 2026 and the FTF Spring Showdown in 2025. She was named FTF Player of the Match four times and earned multiple all-star and player of the match honors. She was also nominated for Athlete of the Year at her school.
 
Vanessa Pecile | Midfielder | Brampton, Ontario
Pecile joins RMU after competing at Cardinal Ambrozic and winning a national championship with her club team in 2025–26 with Glen Shields Juventus FC. She also captured provincial championships in Canada in 2024 and 2025.
