Colonials Finish 11th at RedHawk Intercollegiate

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The RMU men's golf team finished 11th at the RedHawk Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon.
 
As a team, the Colonials finished the three-round tournament 26-over par, posting rounds of +12, +5 and +9. VCU won the tournament at 15-under par.
 
Among the 84 golfers in the field, RMU's top finisher was redshirt senior Chuck Tragesser, who tied for 14th with a score of 1-under par after 54 holes. Over the three rounds, he posted scores of +2, -3 and even par.
 
Tragesser recorded eight total birdies over the two-day event, birdieing holes two and three in both the first and second rounds. His 3-under-par performance in the second round was tied for the fifth-best round of the tournament.
 
Sophomore Chase Bokker finished the tournament at 2-over par. He posted rounds of +1, +2 and his best round of the tournament Tuesday, carding a 1-under-par 71. Bokker registered 13 birdies over his three rounds.
 
Connor McKenzie finished 61st at 10-over par, highlighted by a 1-over-par performance in the second round.
 
Jace Lancaster and Joey Garofalo finished 79th and 80th, respectively. Lancaster finished at 18-over par, while Garofalo posted a 19-over-par score.

UP NEXT
RMU will return to action September 21-22 at the River Run Collegiate in Davidson, N.C. The tournament will be held at River Run Country Club.
