MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU volleyball freshman outside hitter Lauren Decker was named the Under Armour #HLVB Player of the Week Monday after helping lead the Colonials to back-to-back sweeps at the Natale Sporting Goods Invitational.

A Wadsworth, Ohio, native, Decker turned in a standout weekend on both sides of the net, leading RMU with 34 kills across two matches while averaging 5.67 kills per set. She also contributed 28 digs, averaging 3.83 per set, as the Colonials earned consecutive 3-0 victories over Siena and UMES.

Decker opened the weekend with a career-high 19 kills against Siena while hitting .317, helping RMU secure its first victory of the 2026 season. She followed with 15 kills against UMES, finishing the weekend with a .282 hitting percentage.

For her performance, Decker was also named to the Natale Sporting Goods All-Tournament Team.

The weekly honor marks Decker's first Under Armour #HLVB Player of the Week selection of her collegiate career.

RMU returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 22, hosting Youngstown State in its Horizon League opener at the UPMC Events Center. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
