MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Entering his second season with RMU, Jack Olson has been promoted to Hockey Operations Coordinator for the men's hockey program, announced by head coach Derek Schooley.
 
"Jack was very impressive last year as our Video Coach, and we are thrilled to see him take this next step as our Hockey Operations Coordinator," said Schooley. "His knowledge of our program and seamless connection with our staff make him the perfect fit."
 
In his first season as Video Coach, Olson played an integral role for the Colonials, assisting with video review and breakdown throughout the season. He was a key member of a coaching staff that helped lead RMU to the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Semifinals.
 
Olson joined RMU after spending four years at the University of St. Thomas as a student working within its hockey operations department. Throughout his time at St. Thomas and RMU, Olson has been involved with live game tagging, opponent pre-scouting, practice and game film, video breakdown and travel arrangements.
 
A native of West Fargo, N.D., Olson graduated from St. Thomas with a degree in business administration with a concentration in leadership and management.
 
Schooley also announced that Luke Zukowski will serve as the program's Student Manager during the upcoming season.
 
"We're also very excited to bring on Luke Zukowski as Student Manager. Luke has been around our program for the last two years and is person that has incredible passion for hockey."
 
Zukowski will assist the program with day-to-day hockey operations throughout the 2026-27 season.
