Biography

Signed a National Letter of Intent with Robert Morris in May of 2004 ... Made an immediate impact in his first season with Robert Morris, bringing both tenacity and toughness ... Strong build and bulldog mentality allows him to battle for rebounds inside ... Not afraid of contact ... Soft outside touch allows him knock down the open shot ... 2006-07 Highlights (Junior): Named to the All-Northeast Conference Second Team ... Started all 28 games and finished second on the club in scoring (15.9 ppg), rebounding (6.1) and assists (123) while leading the club in steals (77) ... Shot 59.3 percent (169-for-285) from the field to lead the NEC and rank 21st nationally ... Field-goal percentage ranks fourth all-time in the RMU single-season records ... Average of 2.8 steals per game was good enough to lead the league and rank eighth in all of Division I ... Shot 67.7 percent from the free-throw line, leading the club in free throws (88) and free-throw attempts (130) ... Averaged 33.8 minutes per game ... Ranked in the top 15 in the NEC in six categories ... Finished fifth in the NEC in assists (4.39 per game), sixth in offensive rebounds (2.4 per game), seventh in scoring and 10th in rebounding ... Against league opponents averaged 16.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game ... At home in the Charles L. Sewall Center paced RMU with a 17.2 points per game average ... Shot 60.6 percent (97-for-160) from the field at home while also averaging 5.7 rebounds per game ... Scored in double figures in 22 of RMU's 28 games ... Scored at least 20 points in a game seven times ... Posted at least five steals in a game on eight occasions ... Led RMU in scoring in a game nine times and paced the club in rebounding on 10 occasions.

2005-06 Highlights (Sophomore): Appeared in 28 games, all as a member of the starting lineup ... Finished third on the club in scoring (12.6 ppg) and second in rebounding (7.1 rpg) ... Paced RMU in shooting percentage (.466) while finishing second in both assists (95) and steals (53) ... Converted 31.1 percent (19-for-61) of his shots from beyond the three-point line and 69.2 percent (83-for-120) from the free-throw line ... Finished 12th in the NEC in scoring, sixth in rebounding, eighth in assists (3.39 per game), 14th in field goal percentage and second in steals per game (1.89) ... Against NEC opponents averaged 7.6 rebounds per contest to rank sixth ... Scored in double figures in 23 of 28 games ... Averaged 13.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in 15 road contests ... Against league opponents on the road averaged 15.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting 50.5 percent (51-for-101) from the field ... 2004-05 Highlights (Freshman): Named to the All-Northeast Conference Rookie Team, becoming the second player in as many years from Robert Morris and second in as many years from Charlestown High School, joining former guard Derek Coleman (2003-04 All-NEC Rookie Team selection) ... Appeared in all 29 games, including 20 starts ... Averaged 7.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent (85-for-177) from the field ... Paced all NEC freshmen in rebounding with his 5.4 caroms a contest average ... Led the Colonials in steals with 50, an average of 1.72 per game that ranked third in the NEC ... Paced RMU with 62 offensive rebounds and also tallied eight blocks, 52 assists and 19 three-point field goals ... Against league opponents finished with 38 steals in 18 games, an average of 2.11 per game that led the conference ... Registered four double-doubles ... Despite a 6'0" frame averaged 6.1 rebounds against league opponents to lead RMU and rank ninth in the NEC ... Led or tied for the RMU lead in rebounds in 11 of RMU's 29 games ...
