Made her collegiate debut in the Novice 8 A boat, recording a time of 19:23.7 to secure 5th place at the Head of the Ohio
Earned 3rd place in the Novice 8 at the Head of the Occoquan, posting a time of 21:36.3, trailing only West Virginia (21:04.96) and Delaware (21:07.97)
Saw action in the Novice 8 that dominated the competition with a time of 8:18.39 to earn gold at the Occoquan Sprints
As 5 seat, Mads helped the Novice 8 sail into 3rd place at the Kerr Cup, crossing the line with a time of 8:44.27
