RMU STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (March 26, 2008)
Earning the latest Robert Morris Female Student-Athlete of the Week is sophomore attack Alana Beck of the lacrosse squad. The Carle Place, N.Y., native had a stellar offensive week for the Colonials, recording a goal and two assists against Mount St. Mary's (3/20/08) before leading the way with seven points in an 18-8 win over Wagner (3/22/08). Against the Seahawks Beck finished with three goals and four assists and on the 2008 campaign has produced 10 goals, eight assists and 18 points. She currently is tied for team-high honors in goals while pacing the Colonials in points.
