Earning the RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for May 7, 2008, is sophomore Nasim Siddeeq of the men's outdoor track and field squad. Siddeeq was one of three Colonials to claim individual titles at the 2008 Northeast Conference Championships at RMU's Island Sports Center May 3-4, as the New Hampton, N.Y., native won the triple jump thanks to a leap of 51'0.75". Siddeeq's mark broke a 13-year old NEC championship meet record, which was held by Aaron Finley of Rider. Siddeeq easily broke Finley's of mark of 49'7", which was set in 1995. As a team Robert Morris finished fourth at the NEC outdoor championships, compiling 102 points.
