RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (11/4/09)
Earning her first career RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor is freshman opposite Amanda Craig of the volleyball program. The Houston, Texas, native led the Colonials to a 2-1 record last week in their swing through Connecticut, posting 31 kills, seven assists, four service aces, 34 digs and 12 blocks. In a 3-2 victory over Central Connecticut State (10/31), Craig finished with 12 kills, 15 digs and eight blocks, followed by her second consecutive and fourth career double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs @ Bryant (11/1). Craig capped her weekend by leading Robert Morris to a 3-0 win @ Quinnipiac (11/2) with eight kills and seven digs. A nursing major, Craig leads RMU with 214 kills this season while ranking tied for second in service aces (24) and third in digs (201).
