RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (9/16/09)
Tabbed the latest RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week is sophomore Ayana Davis of the Colonial women's soccer team. Davis was named the adidas / Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (9/14) after helping lead Robert Morris to a 3-2 victory over George Washington (9/11) in Washington, D.C. With the score tied, 2-2, in the 104th minute, Davis found the back of the net to help lead RMU to its second victory of the season. After running for the track and field team last season, Davis returned to the soccer field this season and currently is tied for team-high honors in goals this season with two. A native of Mt. Laurel, N.J., Davis is a sport management major.
