RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (9/23/09)
Tabbed the latest RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2009-10 academic year is freshman Max Cahn of the Colonial men's golf team. In the first competition of the 2009-10 season for Robert Morris, Cahn finished tied for seventh individually in helping lead the Colonials to a third place finish at the Bucknell Men's Fall Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa. Bolstered by his first career hole-in-one, Cahn fired a 65 in the second round of the invite at the 6,224 yard, par 70 layout at the Bucknell University Golf Club, besting any score ever posted by an RMU golfer as both a total number and in relation to par. For those efforts he was named the Northeast Conference Men's Golfer of the Week (9/23/09). A native of Nyack, N.Y., Cahn is a sport management major.
