RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (1/20/10)
Earning his second straight RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor is sophomore goaltender Brooks Ostergard of the ice hockey squad. Ostergard took home his second straight College Hockey America (CHA) Defensive Player of the Week honor after putting together a pair of solid efforts in between the pipes in a sweep of Alabama-Huntsville at the RMU Island Sports Center to stretch RMU's winning streak to four. A native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and a finance major, Ostergard posted 48 saves in the two contests, including 30 in the final game of the series, a 3-2 victory for the Colonials. On the 2009-10 campaign, Ostergard has posted 507 saves and owns a .909 save percentage.
