Summer School Aid
Per bylaw 15.2.8, summer financial aid may only be awarded to student-athletes under the following conditions:
- The student has been in residence a minimum of one term during the regular academic year
- The student will be attending a summer term at Robert Morris University
- The student received athletically related aid during the previous academic year
- The summer aid awarded is, at most, an amount that is in proportion to the amount the student received in athletic aid during the previous academic year
In March each year, the Athletic Director will disperse a reminder to encourage student-athletes to apply for Summer School Aid for the upcoming summer. At that time the Athletic Director will provide an application for such aid. The deadline for returning the application will be set at this time and usually falls in the first two weeks of April.
The student-athlete must submit all of the following to secure summer school aid:
- A completed Summer School Aid Application
- A current RMU checksheet of completed degree requirements
- A signature of authorization from the student-athlete’s coach
Funding for Summer School Aid is limited and incomplete applications will not receive awards.
