RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (3/31/10)
Taking home the first RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the softball team on the 2010 campaign is junior Annie Dubovec. A native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Dubovec was named the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week (3/29) after hitting a spectacular .727 (8-for-11) in four games last week. In the second game of a doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/27), a 17-1 win, Dubovec was a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish, and she followed that by again going 3-for-3 against Monmouth (3/28) in the only game of a doubleheader at the North Athletic Complex. On the 2010 season the applied mathematics major leads RMU in both hits (20) and RBI (14).
