Jordan Lipson enters her second season with the Robert Morris University Women’s Ice Hockey team as an assistant coach.
 
Lipson spent the previous season at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, overseeing the defense.
 
She began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach at Williams College in Western Massachusetts. During her five-year stint (four seasons due to Covid), Lipson helped guide the Ephs to a 55-32-14 record, including capturing the NESCAC championship during the 2018-19 season. The Ephs would go on to host and win their first program NCAA game the same year. While coaching at Williams College, Lipson earned her master’s degree in coaching and athletics administration from the University of Concordia Irvine in the spring of 2021.
 
The Davis, Calif. native graduated from Plattsburgh State in 2017 with a major in history and double minors in coaching and political science. Jordan is part of a storied history at Plattsburgh State, winning four NCAA National Championships and four ECAC West Championships in her career (2014-2017). Lipson's class was the first class ever to win four National Championships in DIII women's hockey history.
 
Lipson's individual accolades include eclipsing the 100-point milestone, East-West Classic All-Tournament Team - Spring 2017, ECAC All-Conference Team Honorable Mention - Spring 2016 and 2017, and first in DIII for power play goals (tying a Plattsburgh state record with 10 PPG).
