Mia Del Rosso

Mia Del Rosso joined the Robert Morris University women's hockey coaching staff as an assistant coach in June 2026.

Del Rosso came to RMU after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at Trinity College, where she worked extensively with the team's defensive unit and oversaw the penalty kill. During her tenure with the Bantams, she gained experience in player development, special teams, line management, recruiting and day-to-day program operations.

Prior to coaching, Del Rosso was a standout defenseman at Amherst College, helping the Mammoths capture a NESCAC championship during the 2018-19 season. She also trained with the Chinese Ice Hockey Association's women's national development program in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics, working with the KRS-Vanke Rays and gaining valuable international experience.

A native of Hingham, Mass., Del Rosso works primarily with RMU's defense corps while assisting in all aspects of the Colonials' program.
