Senior midfielder Riccardo Rota of the soccer team has been tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 16, 2020. In 16 games for the Colonials on the 2019 campaign, Rota paced RMU with four goals and eight points. He started 12 matches on the year and scored a pair of goals in a 3-1 victory @ Central Connecticut to help bolster the Colonials. Rota, a native of Bergamo, Italy, is a sport management major and owns a 3.29 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
