University Park, Pa. / Penn State GC Blue Course - The Robert Morris University men's golf team sits in 13th position at the 16-team Rutherford Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament hosted by Penn State University. After rain suspended first-round play, the Colonials finished up their first round with a 310 total before slipping back 12 strokes in the second round for a 322.

Senior C.G. Mercatoris (Brookville, Pa. / Brookville) sits in a tie for 25th position, carding a second round 74 to put his two-round mark at 152 combined with a first-round 78. Sophomore Brock Pompeani (Aliquippa, Pa. / Hopewell) fired an opening round 77 and tacked on a 79 in round two to post a 156 total and put him in a tie for 47th.

Sophomore Donny Lewis (Wexford, Pa. / North Allegheny) is in 65th with a 160 (79-81). Sophomore Brandon Pompeani (Aliquippa, Pa. / Hopewell) slipped 18 strokes in the second round with a 94 after an opening mark of 76 for a 170 total. Junior Robbie Holdcroft (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa. / State College) shot 87-88=175 and is 90th.

The third and final round tees off at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
