Moon Township, Pa. / North Athletic Complex — The Robert Morris University women's soccer team controlled play throughout, but could not find the back of the net in a scoreless tie with Mount St. Mary's at North Athletic Complex Sunday afternoon. The game was the third consecutive double-overtime game and second straight tie for the Colonials who are now 4-6-3 overall and 0-1-2 in Northeast Conference games. Mount St. Mary's moves to 3-6-3 and 1-1-1 in the league.

Sophomore Chelsea de Jager (Grimsby, Ontario / Governor Simcoe) earned her first complete game shutout of the season by making two saves. Vicky Cocozza did the yeoman's share of work for Mount St. Mary's making five – several spectacular – saves in second half and overtime. Rachel Bourne had three first half saves.

Neither team put together much of a threat in the first half as it was Mount St. Mary's that got the first real chance of the game in the 56th minute when Ragan Cote pounced on a slow pass-back to the keeper. Cote's shot from 12 yards was parried away by de Jager.

A short cross from Lauren Sulkowski (St. Catherines, Ontario / Holy Cross) to the near side of the six-yard box found Madison Kozlowski (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley), but her quick turning shot was deflected wide of the far post by Vicky Cocozza for the Colonials best chance in regulation.

Cocozza came up big just seconds into the second overtime, saving a point blank chance by freshman Antonia Grese (Moon Township, Pa. / Moon) with a quick dive to her right.

Robert Morris outshot the visiting Mountaineers, 22-9, including eight shots on net.

The Colonials make the shortest trip on their Northeast Conference schedule to play Saint Francis Friday, Oct. 18, at 3:00 p.m.
