Robert Morris opens its Northeast Conference schedule Friday, Oct. 4, at Central Connecticut State in the final game of a seven-game road trip. A banged-up Colonials team struggled to a 1-5 mark in its final six non-conference games – all on the road – after starting the year at 3-0-1.
 
The Series vs. Central Connecticut State
Robert Morris trails the all-time series, 3-14, but has won the last two games in the series. RMU defeated CCSU in New Britain, 3-1, in 2011 before securing a 1-0 victory at North Athletic Complex last year. The Colonials are 1-7 in road games and 2-7 at home.

The Colonials got off to the best start in team history at 3-0-1, but have struggled on its current seven-game road trip going 1-5 in the first six games while playing with a dwindling roster due to injuries. Madison Kozlowski leads the team with nine points on four goals and an assist, but has not tallied a point in the last five games. The Colonials lost their most recent game, 2-0, at St. Bonaventure. Junior Becky Schoenecker and sophomore Chelsea de Jager have split the majority of play in goal. Robert Morris returns home for the first time in 37 days next Friday, Oct. 11, when it hosts Bryant in a 12:30 p.m. contest at North Athletic Complex.
