University Park, Pa. / Penn State Blue Course – The Robert Morris University men's golf team finds itself in 14th place after the first two rounds of action at Penn State University's Rutherford Intercollegiate. RMU posted a 328 in the first round before cutting 14 strokes in the second round for a 314 team total.

Freshman Garrett Browning (Imperial, Pa. / West Allegheny) highlighted the first day of action with a two-over par round of 73 at Penn State's Blue Course. The rookie capped his day with a second round 80 and sits tied for 31st with a 153 total.

Senior Brock Pompeani (Aliquippa, Pa. / Hopewell) struggled to an opening score of 86, but recovered to find 11 strokes in the second 18 holes for a 75. He's tied for 63rd with a 161 total. Senior Max Cahn (Nyack, N.Y. / Nyack) is 69th with a 163 following rounds of 82 and 81.

Sopohomore Ryan Prokay (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City) carded 78 strokes over his final 18 holes after and opening round of 89 giving him a 167 that places him 71st. Senior Brandon Pompeani (Aliquippa, Pa. / Hopewell) scored rounds of 87 and 84 for a 171 total. He is 72nd.
