The Robert Morris University women's soccer team puts its playoff hopes on the line witha two-game swing through New England. With a pair of wins almost a must, RMU begins its push for a first NEC Tournament berth at Sacred Heart in a 5:00 p.m. game Friday, Oct. 31. The Colonials beat the Pioneers, 5-0, in last year's season finale.

All-Time vs. Sacred Heart
Robert Morris has played Sacred Heart every season since 1999, accumulating a record of 6-8-1 in those meetings. RMU is 3-2 in the last five games, including a 5-0 win in last year's season finale. The Colonials are just 1-6 in games at Campus Field, but 5-2-1 in home contests.

Playoff Picture
The Colonials are on the brink of their first ever NEC Tournament appearance, sitting fifth heading into the last weekend of play. RMU needs two wins in its final two games, plus help from either Mount St. Mary's or Fairleigh Dickinson. With eight points and two games to play, RMU can finish with 14 points this season. But they'll need FDU to either tie or beat Saint Francis (12 pts; one game left) or Mount St. Mary's to upset CCSU (13 pts.; one game left). A win and tie would possibly bring a bunch of tie-breakers into play.

Musket Shots

- Schoenecker is the NEC Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after her fourth shutout of the season, a 13-save effort against Saint Francis U
- Junior midfielder Kristie Hamilton had four assists at Mount St. Mary's, setting a new RMU single-game record
