Musket Shots
  • Robert Morris is coming off its fifth-straight winning season – a campaign that saw the program's first NEC Championship Game appearance along with its first postseason win.
  • The Colonials return five All-NEC honorees, including senior Sean Meagher (Chesterfield, Mo. / St. Louis University) and sophomore Eric Rankel (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) – both of which were named to the All-NEC First Team. Meagher was the conference's Defensive Player of the Year, while Rankel became the first freshman in RMU history to earn first or second team all-conference honors. Other honorees include junior Luc Magnan (Pine Falls, Manitoba / The Hill Academy), and sophomores Nicholas Beaudoin (Welland, Ontario / Notre Dame College) and Luke Laskiewicz (Oshawa, Ontario / Westminster Prep).
  • Laszkiewicz had an impressive collegiate debut against Bellarmine last season, tallying a hat trick with goals in the first, second, and fourth quarters.
  • Senior Brian Bohn (Mars, Pa. / Seneca Valley) and junior Matt Bukovac (Ashburn, Va. / Briar Woods) each have seen time in net against the Golden Knights. Bohn allowed one goal in 2:54 as a freshman in 2011, while Bukovac played 30 seconds last season.
