IPFW Defeats Robert Morris, 6-0

Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University women's tennis squad continued its 2014 spring campaign Saturday with a 6-0 setback to IPFW. Doubles were not played.

At the No. 2 singles flight, sophomore Marie-Sophie Heine (Wanze, Belgium / Saint Quirin) battled Ella Norgren before falling, 7-6 (7-5) and 6-4.

Freshman Alina Schibol (Hamburg, Germany) went three sets against Miloslava Shustova at No. 4, winning the second set, 7-6 (7-5), before falling in the third set, 10-8. Shustova earned a 6-2 win in the first match of the set.

Robert Morris next travels to Orlando, Fla., for its annual spring break trip beginning Saturday, March 8.
