Siena comes into this meeting with an overall record of 3-2, all of those results coming away from home, and one coming in quadruple overtime (11-10 win at Hartford on March 8). Last Meeting
Near the end of Robert Morris' inaugural season in 2005, the Colonials traveled to Loudonville, N.Y. to take on Siena. After jumping out to a 4-1 lead after the first quarter, the Saints didn't let up, scoring seven of the last nine goals of the game to earn an 11-3 win. Eric DeSalvatore tallied two goals for the Colonials.
In Case You Missed It
Robert Morris couldn't hold onto a 7-6 halftime this past Sunday against Saint Joseph's, as the Colonials managed just a single second half goal in an 11-8 loss to the Hawks. Senior
Sean Meagher (Chesterfield, Mo. / St. Louis University) led RMU with a career-high two goals and an assist, with sophomore
Eric Rankel (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) recording the helpers on Meagher's tallies.
History vs. Siena
Robert Morris has only placed Siena once in its history, and as aforementioned, it was in the program's first season as a Division I program.

Robert Morris' 1-3 start is just the second time over the past eight seasons in which they have started the campaign off with a losing record, joining the 2011 Colonials. However, that team rebounded from close losses to No. 3 North Carolina, Hobart, and Colgate to finish 9-6 and advance to its first NEC Tournament. RMU also earned its first win over a nationally-ranked program that season, defeating No. 17/18 Bucknell, 7-5, at Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh.

Sean Meagher is known for his defensive prowess – evidenced by his NEC Defensive Player of the Year award from a season ago – but he's also been contributing on the other side of the field in his senior year. Meagher has scored three goals this season, which is already a career-high for the Senior CLASS Award Semifinalist. The long-stick midfielder is one point away from breaking his previous career-high of four, set in the 2012 season.

The Colonials have improved on their face-offs this season, with a mark of .465 compared to last year's .357 number. Redshirt sophomore Chris Barney (Cheshire, Conn. / Bridgeton Academy) has taken all but one face-off in 2014, while six different players matched up at the face-off dot last year.
