Avon, Ind. / Prestwick Country Club - Garrett Browning fired a one-under par 71at the Butler Spring Invitational to help stake the
Robert Morris Unviersity men's golf team to a nine-stroke victory at the weather shortened event. The Prestwick Country Club is played to a par of 72 at 6,960 yards. Originial scheduled for 36 holes, the second day of competition was cancelled as a layer of snow covered the course this morning.
Browning's one-under par round of 71 has hime tied with Ball State's Tyler Ostrom for first place and Browning won on a tie-breaker with a comparison of scorecards. The win is the third of the season for Browning, the second most in a season by an RMU player.

Dan Maier and
Ryan Prokay all joined Browning in the top-10. Gurska and Maier both posted rounds of 73 and tied for third overall. Prokay finished one stroke back after a first round 74, good enough for ninth.
Santiago Mejia carded a 75 tying for 11th and narrowly missing his fifth top-10 finish in seven events.
