Seven seniors for Robert Morris will be playing in their last game at Joe Walton Stadium this Saturday

Robert Morris Colonials (5-7, 2-3 NEC) vs. No. 18/15 Bryant Bulldogs (10-3, 3-1 NEC)
Saturday, April 19 – Moon Township, Pa. – Joe Walton Stadium – 1:00 p.m.
Senior Day 2014

Scouting Bryant
Bryant, ranked 18th by United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) and 15th by Warrior Men's Lacrosse, currently sits in a tie for second in the Northeast Conference (NEC) with a 3-1 conference mark and has an overall record of 10-3. The Bulldogs hold wins over nationally-ranked Bucknell, Drexel, and Albany, while their only conference loss came on April 5 at Saint Joseph's, 9-7.

Offensively, Bryant is sophomore Shane Morrell (23-8-31) and senior Colin Dunster (21-6-27), who are two of the six double-figure goal scorers for the team. Senior Alex Zomerfeld leads the Bulldogs with 16 assists, while freshman Tucker James has scored 16 goals in his rookie campaign.

Junior Kevin Massa ranks second nationally with a face-off winning percentage of .706.

In net, redshirt sophomore Gunnar Waldt has started every game for Bryant. Waldt has a goals-against-average of 7.25 and a save percentage of .621 – marks that slot him fourth and second in those respective departments.

Thank You Seniors
Seven Robert Morris seniors will be playing in the last home game of their careers on Saturday afternoon. In four seasons, they have been a part of 33 wins, a NEC regular season championship, and the team's first NEC Championship Game berth.

Brian Bohn (Mars, Pa. / Seneca Valley) has started in every game this season, compiling a goals-against-average of 10.71 and a save percentage of .489. Between March 12 and March 29, Bohn became the first goaltender in program history to allow less than 10 goals in five straight starts.

Taylor Graves (Carlsbad, Calif. / Carlsbad) is a five-year senior who redshirted in the 2011 season. Graves has put together a total of 12 multi-goal efforts in his career, including a career-high five this season. On March 3, 2012, he scored the lone hat trick of his career against Colgate.

Ryan Higgins (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) has played in 23 games at Robert Morris, scoring nine goals and collecting three groundballs. As a sophomore, Higgins scored a career-high five goals, with four of them coming on March 31, 2012 at Wagner.

Eric Madigan (Ashburn, Va. / Sacred Heart University) has played one year with the Colonials after spending four at Sacred Heart. On April 5 at Wagner, Madigan scored his first goal in a RMU uniform, and has three points (1g, 2a) on the season.

Justin McLiverty (Pittsford, N.Y. / Pittsford Sutherland) has seen action in 22 games with the Colonials. McLiverty has made two starts this season, collecting four groundballs and causing two turnovers on the campaign.

Sean Meagher (Chesterfield, Mo. / St. Louis University) won NEC Defensive Player of the Year last season, thanks in part to a program record 38 caused turnovers. Meagher holds the career record with 90 caused turnovers and is just three away from tying his own single-season mark. He was also the recipient of the NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2013.

Tyler Rankel (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) has caused 58 turnovers in his career, good enough for an average of 1.21 per game, which slots him third in program history in both categories. Rankel's 22 caused turnovers last season are the sixth most in a single-season at RMU.

Last Meeting
Robert Morris met Bryant in the NEC Championship Game last season after a thrilling semifinal victory over Quinnipiac. However, the Bulldogs used a 7-1 fourth quarter advantage to earn a 14-7 victory over the Colonials. Connor Martin was the lone double-digit goal scorer for RMU, while Sean Meagher set a single-game program record with seven caused turnovers.

In Case You Missed It
Robert Morris went on the road last weekend to take on No. 10/9 Notre Dame, but couldn't escape South Bend with a victory as the Colonials fell, 15-5. Sophomores James Rahe (Aldergrove, British Columbia / W.J. Mouat) and Luke Laszkiewicz (Oshawa, Ontario / Westminster Prep) each had two goals in the loss, while junior Matt Bukovac (Ashburn, Va. / Briar Woods) made 12 saves on 18 shots in relief of Brian Bohn.

History vs. Bryant
Robert Morris is 2-3 all-time against Bryant, with three of the five contests being decided by one goal. One of those barnburners came in 2012 when the Colonials clinched their first NEC regular-season championship with a 13-12 win over the No. 20 Bulldogs. Dave Morton and Jake Hayes each had hat tricks for RMU, while Matt Bukovac earned the win between the pipes with nine saves.
