West Point, NY -- Robert Morris University men's hockey is back in action this weekend at Army West Point, beginning with a 7:05 pm game tonight and a second game Saturday at 7:05 pm. The Colonials are coming off the bye week following a split with American International.
Greg Gibson and
Zac Lynch lead a high-flying, nationally ranked offensive attack for Robert Morris. The pair are the highest scoring seniors in all of college hockey, with Gibson ranked third nationally posting 16 points (8 G, 8 A) and Lynch scoring 5 goals and 9 assists. Head Coach

Army Notes (PDF)ALL-TIME SERIESRobert Morris and Army have played 13 games since their first meeting in 2011, the Colonials leading the series 7-3-3. Last season, the teams played twice. Robert Morris won the opener with a 3-0 shutout and the teams tied 3-3 the following night.
SCOUTING ARMY-  Army's head coach Brian Riley is coming up on his 400th career game behind the bench for the program. He currently sits at 395 games coached in 11-plus seasons with the Black     Knights. He will hit the mark on Dec. 4 when Army plays at Sacred Heart.
-  Army has scored 13 goals this season for 10 different skaters. Trevor Fidler, Ryan Nick and Clint Carlisle share the team lead with two apiece, while seven teammates have found the net     this season. Tipper Higgins joined the group with his first collegiate goal against Bentley on Oct. 31.
- Â During the last two games, Army has blocked 37 shots on defense, led by Ryan Nick's 7 and Joe Kozlak's 5.
- Â Nick is Army's top blueliner. The junior has a career best two goals this season and his three points leads all defenseman. Nick is also top of the list for blocks with 16 in eight games.
- Â Army hasn't given up a goal in the last five periods (110 minutes), and has outscored its opponents 4-0 during that span.
GIBSON'S NATIONAL MARKSSenior forward
Greg Gibson was named the nation's player of the month for October, by the Hockey Commissioners' Association, the first such honor for a Colonials player. Gibson is tied for third in the nation in points (16), 2nd in Goals (8), 1st in goals per game (1.00) and points/pg (2.00)
LYNCH LIGHTS IT UPZac Lynch is among the top active career performers in all of college hockey. The Pittsburgh native is 4th in the nation in career scoring with 115 points, 4th in assists (68) and is 9th in goals (47). Lynch is also second in short-handed goals (6) & tied for 10th in power play goals (15).
CAREER RANKINGSRobert Morris has several other players ranked in the top 50 nationally in career numbers. Gibson is 12th in goals (43), 30th in points (82) and tied for 31st in game-winning goals (6).
David Friedmann is 45th in goals (29), 46th in points (69) and 21st in GWG (7).
Tyson Wilson is 24th in career assists with 52.

Dalton Izyk is ranked third nationally with a .961 save percentage and his 1.36 goals against average ranks sixth overall. Izyk is first in the conference in save percentage (.958), goals against average (1.33), win percentage (.875) and fewest goals      allowed (5).
POWERFUL DEFENSERob Mann is ranked 7th in the nation in blocks per game (2.62), blocking 21 shots (27th) in 8 games. Mann is 5th in the conference in blocks & second in B/PG.
Tyson Wilson is tied for 16th for most points by a defenseman (9) tied for sixth in assists by a defenseman (7).

IZYK REACHES MILESTONESDalton Izyk surpassed the 1,000 save milestone in a 34-save shutout of #10 Michigan. That shutout was the fifth of Izyk's career, tying an RMU record set by Eric Levine (2009-13).
BETTER WITH AGERobert Morris has the oldest team in college hockey. The Colonials average age as of October 1 is 22 years, 121 days.
