- Robert Morris opens Northeast Conference play with a pair of home games at the Charles L. Sewall Center after taking on Georgia Tuesday. The Colonials open their league slate Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, with a 4:00 p.m. tip against Sacred Heart. RMU also welcomes Wagner to the Sewall Center Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, for a 7:30 p.m. tip before beginning a stretch of six of eight NEC contests on the road.

Duquesne Tidbits - Robert Morris had a five-game winning streak against the Dukes snapped, and Duquesne improved to 16-10 (.615) all-time against the Colonials ... RMU held Duquesne to a field goal percentage of .344 (22-for-64), including 14.8 percent (4-for-27) from beyond the arc, both season lows by an opponent ... The Dukes finished with 59 rebounds, the most caroms collected by an opponent in six years under head coach
Andrew Toole ... For the second consecutive game and fourth time overall in 2015-16 the Colonials forced 18 turnovers, a season high by an RMU opponent.

Minnie Me - Sophomore forward
Elijah Minnie registered his first double-double of the 2015-16 campaign and fourth of his career @ Duquesne (12/19/15), recording game highs in both points (23) and rebounds (12). Minnie tied a career high in rebounds against the Dukes also finished with three blocks and a pair of steals. Since missing RMU's game against Oakland (12/5/15) due to an illness, Minnie is averaging 14.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over his last three games.

Mix and Match - In 72-65 setback @ Duquesne (12/19/15), head coach
Andrew Toole employed his seventh different starting lineup in the last eight games as well as the eighth different starting five overall in 2015-16. Toole, who has won 112 games in six seasons as head coach at Robert Morris, has used 50 different starting lineups during his tenure. That equates to an average of 2.24 victories per starting five.Â

Rodney Pryor has picked up where he left off from last season as RMU closes out its non-conference slate Tuesday @ Georgia. Thanks to 22 points @ Duquesne (12/19/15), Pryor enters Tuesday's game having reached double figures in scoring in each of his last 22 games dating back to last season. During that stretch, Pryor is averaging 21.1 points per contest while converting an average of 2.91 three-pointers per game. Pryor Commitment - Senior guard
Rodney Pryor has eclipsed the 20-point plateau in each of his last five games entering Tuesday's game @ Georgia, becoming the first member of the Colonials on record in program history to turn the trick. Over the last five games, Pryor has averaged 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 blocks while shooting 50 percent (43-for-86) from the field and 82.1 percent (23-for-28) at the free-throw line.

Block Party - Sophomore forward
Elijah Minnie set an RMU single-season school record for blocks in his rookie campaign last year by recording 36 rejections, and he continues to protect the rim in 2015-16. Minnie finished with three blocks @ Duquesne (12/19/15) and in 11 games this year has recorded 21 rejections. Minnie leads the Northeast Conference in blocks per game (1.91) and has accumulated a total of 57 rejections in 43 career contests, an average of 1.33 per game.

Rejection - Led by the exploits of sophomore forward
Elijah Minnie, Robert Morris enters its non-conference finale Tuesday @ Georgia leading the Northeast Conference in blocks with an average of 4.50 per game. The Colonials finished with a season-high eight rejections @ Duquesne (12/19/15) and are on pace to finish the 2015-16 regular season with 140 blocks. That would establish a new RMU single-season school record, as the current mark of 121 was set in 2008-09.

Diversify - In 2014-15, 44.5 percent (243-of-546) of the scoring production for guard
Rodney Pryor came from beyond the three-point line. Through 12 games in 2015-16, just 36.9 percent (96-of-260) of Pryor's production has come from the three-pointer.

The Chase For 1,000 - Senior guard
Rodney Pryor is RMU's active leading scorer with 806 points as the Colonials concluded the non-conference portion of the schedule Tuesday @ Georgia. Pryor has scored a team-high 260 points in 12 games and is looking to become the second player in the last three years to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau in just two seasons at RMU. Former guard Karvel Anderson scored 1,123 points in 69 career games from 2012 to 2014. Pryor needs to average 10.2 points over RMU's final 19 games of the 2015-16 campaign to eclipse 1,000 career points. He would be the fourth player in school history, and third at the Division I level, to score at least 1,000 points while playing just two years.
