Pittsburgh, Pa. - Robert Morris University men's hockey returns to Atlantic Hockey conference play this weekend as Sacred Heart comes to town. The Colonials (6-4-2, 4-3-1 AHC) and Pioneers (5-7-2, 3-5-0 AHC) faced off just three weekends ago in Connecticut, with RMU sweeping the series with a pair of 4-1 wins.

PROMOTIONS
Friday night, RMU students can ride a free shuttle from campus (Lexington & Concord) to the RMU Island Sports Center and back from 6:00-10:00pm. Saturday night, the first 800 fans will receive an RMU Tumbler cup presented by Alpern Wealth Management.

LAST TIME OUT
Robert Morris split a non-conference home series with Dartmouth. The Colonials took a 3-0 victory on Saturday at 84 Lumber Arena and the Big Green took Sunday's game at PPG Paints Arena 5-2.

NOVEMBER REIGN
Senior forward Daniel Leavens is the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month for November after scoring 11 points on 4 goals & 7 assists. Two of Leavens goals were game-winners including one shorthanded goal. Leavens and linemates Brady Ferguson & Alex Tonge all had 11 points and plus-8 ratings in the month of November and all ride six-game point streaks into December.

WEEKLY HONORS
Junior goaltender Andrew Pikul earned his first conference recognition. Pikul was named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week after posting his first career win and shutout with a 33-save, 3-0 blanking of Dartmouth. Pikul is the sixth Colonials goaltender to ever record a shutout.

LEAGUE LEADERS
Ferguson leads Atlantic Hockey in scoring (10G-11A-21P) averaging 1.75 points per game. Tonge is tied for second in scoring (8G-8A-16P) and Leavens is tied for fourth (4G-11A-15P).

FIVE FOR FRANKY
Freshman goaltender Francis Marotte holds a 5-2-1 record, making 7 starts and playing in 9 of the team's 12 games. Marotte has stopped 230 of 244 shots and leads the AHC with a .943 save percentage & 1.81 GAA. Marotte is 3rd in NCAA hockey in save percentage and GAA and 8th in win percentage at .786

Leavens, Ferguson & Tonge are each riding 6-game point streaks into December.

POWER UP
RMU's power play is 8th in the nation & 2nd in Atlantic Hockey (23.0 %). Robert Morris is 2nd in the league in power play goals with 14, while AIC leads with 16. Ferguson leads Atlantic Hockey with 9 power play points, tied for 8th in NCAA.

Robert Morris is 16th in the nation in goals per game, scoring at a 3.33 g/pg clip.

Ferguson (57.2%) & freshman Daniel Mantenuto (49.6%) lead RMU in faceoffs. Ferguson is 5th in the league in faceoff percentage while Mantenuto is 32nd.
