- Senior guard Kavon Stewart paced the Colonials against YSU with 21 points while also adding four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Redshirt senior forward Aaron Tate registered his first career double-double against the Penguins thanks to 11 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.

Lehigh Tidbits - Thanks to the win for the Mountain Hawks the all-time series between RMU and Lehigh is tied, 3-3 ... Robert Morris shot a season-high 46.2 percent (24-for-52) from the field thanks to converting 53.8 percent (14-for-26) of its shots in the first half ... Lehigh outrebounded RMU, 33-30 ... Freshman guard Clive Allen registered his first career double-figure scoring games, scoring all 10 of his points in the first half ... The Colonials posted nine assists against nine turnovers in the first half but just a pair of helpers against nine miscues in the second half ... RMU visited the free-throw line just five times, converting each.

Balancing Act - Senior guard Kavon Stewart has developed into a consistent secondary scorer for the Colonials the last few weeks, as he enters Tuesday's game against Duquesne having averaged 15.0 points over his last four games while shooting 46.2 percent (18-for-39) from the field and 71 percent (22-for-31) at the free-throw line. Stewart has also balanced scoring with creating on offense, averaging 4.0 assists during that span while also producing an average of 2.3 steals per contest.

Glue Guy - Redshirt senior forward Aaron Tate notched his first career double-double against Youngstown State (11/30/16), recording 11 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, and seems to be settling in for the Colonials as a post presence. Tate has grabbed at least eight rebounds in five of his last six games, averaging 9.5 caroms per contest during that span. He also is producing an average of 7.6 points per game over his last six contests, converting 56.8 percent (21-for-37) of his attempts from the field. Tate enters Tuesday's game against Duquesne leading the NEC in offensive rebounds with an average of 3.44 per game while sitting third in rebounding overall (8.7 per contest).

At The Rim - One of the most efficient players in the paint for Robert Morris has been senior forward Billy Giles. Giles contributed eight points and five rebounds @ Lehigh (12/3/16), converting four of his five shots from the floor. Giles ranks second in the Northeast Conference in field goal percentage at 66.7 percent (28-for-42) and during his two-year career has shot 61.7 percent (148-for-240) from the field. The career school record for field goal percentage (minimum 500 points) is held by former forward Gabe Jackson, who shot 56.8 percent from the floor from 1992 to 1995.

Under/Over - The 2016-17 version of the Colonials are one of the youngest teams in head coach Andrew Toole's seven-year tenure at RMU, as three freshman and three sophomores help make up the rotation. Through nine games of the year, the Robert Morris underclassmen have supplied the Colonials with 49.4 percent (890-of-1,800) of the minutes played and 53.2 percent (295-of-554) of their scoring.

Did You Know? In six seasons under head coach Andrew Toole, Robert Morris has compiled a record of 71-28 (.717) when scoring at least 70 points in a game. Included in that record is a mark of 28-3 (.903) when eclipsing the 80-point plateau.
