Billy The Kid - Junior forward

Â
Attack The Paint -Â While Robert Morris has struggled knocking down the three-point shot in recent weeks, converting at the rim hasn't been an issue. The Colonials have scored at least 40 points in the paint in three of their last four games after finishing with 40 against Saint Francis U. (2/11/16). Included in that stretch is a season-high 48 points down low in an 89-71 victory over Bryant (2/6/16). Against the Bulldogs, RMU shot a staggering 64.4 percent (29-for-45) in two-point field goal attempts. Overall in 2015-16, the Colonials own a success rate inside the three-point arc of 49.7 percent (448-for-901). Through 13 games against Northeast Conference foes, Robert Morris has averaged 30.5 points in the paint per game.
Â
Men of Steal - Freshman guard
Matty McConnell has teamed with junior guard
Kavon Stewart to give the Colonials a solid combination at the top of RMU's 2-3 zone. Stewart and McConnell rank first and second, respectively, in the Northeast Conference against league foes in steals per game. Stewart owns 29 steals in 12 games, an average of 2.42 per contest, while McConnell owns 29 thefts in 13 games, an average of 2.23 per tilt. Steven Whitley returned to the starting five in place of freshman guard
Isaiah Still. Toole, who has won 117 games in six seasons as head coach at Robert Morris, has used 52 different starting lineups during his tenure. Â
The Chase For 1,000 - Senior guard
Rodney Pryor is RMU's active leading scorer with 953 points as the Colonials travel to take on Fairleigh Dickinson in Teaneck, N.J., Saturday. Pryor has scored a team-high 407 points in 23 games this year and is looking to become the second player in the last three years to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau in just two seasons at RMU. Former guard Karvel Anderson scored 1,123 points in 69 career games from 2012 to 2014. Pryor needs to average 9.4 points over RMU's final seven games of the 2015-16 campaign to eclipse 1,000 career points. He would be the fourth player in school history, and third at the Division I level, to score at least 1,000 points while playing just two years.
