Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team will take its home field for the second of three consecutive games at Joe Walton Stadium when the Colonials host the Panthers of High Point University on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m.
Saturday's contest marks the second all-time meeting between the Colonials (1-2) and the Panthers (1-3). Both teams are coming off their first win of the season. RMU defeated Manhattan, 19-6, in its home opener last weekend, while High Point pulled off an overtime upset against No. 10 Virginia, 12-11.

Robert Morris versus High PointThe Colonials are 0-1 all-time versus the Panthers. RMU dropped a 13-10 decision to HPU last year in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. Saturday's game will mark High Point's first visit to Joe Walton Stadium.
First Things FirstThe Colonials earned their first victory of the season in their home opener against Manhattan, 19-6. The Colonials' 19 goals in that game rank tied for 10
th all-time in a game in RMU history. Their 30 total points in the win rank tied for ninth in all-time game records. RMU's 24 faceoffs won against Manhattan rank first among all NCAA Division I teams in team game highs this season.
Rookie RadarFreshman attack
Eddie Smith was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week for his role in last Saturday's win over Manhattan. The Victoria, British Columbia, native contributed four goals and one assist to the victory. His five points marked the first of his collegiate career. Smith currently leads the team in man-down goals and paces all RMU rookies in goals and points. He ranks third on the team in points.
